Stream over 9,000 videos for kids on Astro GO

During the school holidays, kids can discover and stream over 9,000 family-friendly and wholesome videos on Astro GO and On Demand, comprising telemovies, dramas, animation to live-action musicals and many more. In addition, kids can also enjoy Astro Ceria, Astro Xiao Tai Yang, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon in HD.

Kids can also catch over 50 exclusive programmes on Astro Ceria, Malay vernacular channels (Astro Ria, Astro Warna, and Astro Prima), international channels (HBO, Fox Movies, Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Warner TV), Chinese vernacular channels (Astro Xiao Tai Yang) and Indian vernacular channels (Astro Vaanavil and Astro Vellithirai) from 23rd November onwards. 

OFFERINGS THIS SCHOOL HOLIDAY SEASON

Among the premiering titles will be Astro Originals ‘SMK’ and ‘Hello Pinkfong’. SMK airs on Astro Ceria on Saturday, 30th November at 11 a.m. and stars teen heartthrobs Wafiy Ilhan, Idan Aedan and Fikry Kiki, with Erissa Puteri, Rykarl Iskandar, Mia Sara, Aniq and Kashika of ‘Ceria Megastar’. ‘SMK is a comedy series that revolves around a new student (Adam) and the hilarious situations he faces with his classmates who are made up of differing and wacky personalities. It intends to celebrate the characters’ individual uniqueness and instill a sense of togetherness and harmony despite their diverse backgrounds. Look out for cameos from comedian Abam Bocey, Hafidz Roshdi and Nasz Sally!

Parents and kids can enjoy the world’s first Pinkfong and Baby Shark live-action show, ‘Hello Pinkfong’, which helps kids learn English through fun play including song and dance, arts and crafts, and other explorative learning styles. Premiering on 23rd November, this latest co-production between Astro and SmartStudy will feature an entirely Malaysian cast, with more than 40 popular Pinkfong songs that will be rearranged and presented with different dance sets choreographed specially for the series available on Astro Ceria, Astro Xiao Tai Yang, Astro Vaanavil, Astro Vinmeen, Astro TVIQ and Hello. Parents and kids can also enjoy stream 100 short-form Pinkfong videos including songs, discovery, and arts and crafts on Astro GO.



During the school holidays ‘Didi & Friends’, Malaysia’s number 1 pre-school brand, and music and faith-inspired animation, ‘Omar & Hana’, will be back with fresh content to entertain the kids. Now in its fourth season, the latest track from ‘Didi & Friends’ titled ‘Mengantuknya Mumia’ (‘The Sleepy Mummy’) recently garnered over 3 million views only a week after its launch. Both ‘Didi & Friends’ and ‘Omar & Hana’ have also been nominated for the ‘Best Preschool Programme’ at the 2019 Asian Television Awards.

The holidays are made more fun with brand new telemovies every Thursday at 9 p.m. starting with ‘Perisik Cilik’, ‘Misteri Krew: Harta Karun Jepun’ and ‘Ceria Megastar Ministar: Zap-In. Then, on Saturdays at 9 p.m., audiences can enjoy ‘Madagascar 3’, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1’ and its sequel ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’, ‘Monsters vs Aliens and ‘The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water’. The above films are also available in Malay dubbing.

Additionally, Astro Xiao Tai Yang will premiere popular Mandarin animations ‘GG Bond: Dodgeball Legend’, ‘Pains of AU’ as well as a movie from China, ‘Legend of the Zodiac’ and Mandarin family game show, ‘Boom’.

Families can also enjoy ‘Allunggal Vellunggal’, Tamil family-friendly game show and animations, ‘Mottu Patlu’, ‘Kisna Movies’ and ‘Super Star Raja’, all premiering on Astro Vaanavil.

Adding on to this exciting school holidays line up are the premieres of ‘Dumbo’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ on FOX Movies. Parents and kids can also enjoy a great viewing experience with their favourite kids titles including ‘Mickey Goes Local’, ‘Club Mickey Mouse Goes to Hong Kong Disneyland Special’, ‘Wizards of Warna Walk Special with the Mouseketeers’, ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ on Disney Channel and ‘We Bare Bears’ on Cartoon Network as well as ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ on Nickelodeon!
