More than 18,000 people descended on the Juru Autocity Penang for the massive Raagavin Thigil Medai mega concert on last Saturday, which was organised by THR Raaga Tamil radio station.
Content Manager of THR Raaga, Subramaniam Veerasamy said, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our fans in Penang who came out last Saturday to celebrate with us. I was overwhelmed with the huge turnout.
The spectacular three-hour concert, featured performances by THR Raaga announcers Ananthaa, Uthaya, Raam, Revathy, Suresh, Kavimaaran, Jay, Geetha, Ahila and Jay.
The finale of “Serial Pei” was the highlight as the audience were eager to know the ending, which then t received a thunderous applause from the audience.
“Serial Pei” is a 11-episode comedy horror drama series directed by Rani Sundrajoo and produced by THR Raaga. All 11 episodes were aired on Astro’s Vaanavil Channel (201) and posted on THR Raaga’s official website, YouTube and Facebook page.
Other highlights of the concert included special performances by 2016 Raaga Thigil Medai Talent Search winner – Jason and 2014 Raagavin Star Yaar finalist – Velarasan and Dharshamini.
