e1

The Upcoming Long Weekend is a Good Time to Binge-Watch These Netflix Originals before their Season Return in May & June.

1. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
After living in a cult for fifteen years, Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) decides to reclaim her life and start over in New York City. Original, quirky and witty, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will return to Netflix on May 19.

2. Master of None
Best known for his role on the award-winning series Parks and Recreation, comedian Aziz Ansari stars, writes, and directs Master of None, a new Netflix original comedy series loosely based on his own life experiences. Master of None follows the personal and professional lives of Dev, a 30-year-old actor in New York who has trouble deciding what he wants to eat, much less the pathway for the rest of his life. Ambitious, funny, cinematic, and both sweeping in scope and intensely personal, Dev’s story takes him through subjects as diverse as the plight of the elderly, the immigrant experience, and how to find the most delicious pasta for dinner. The show was created by Ansari and Parks and Recreation writer Alan Yang. The series is executive produced by Aziz Ansari, Alan Yang, Michael Schur, Dave Becky, and David Miner. The Emmy-award series will return to Netflix beginning May 12.

3. Orange is the New Black
Orange is the New Black is the outrageous and critically-acclaimed series from Emmy® Award-winner Jenji Kohan about a diverse group of inmates serving time in a women’s prison. The highly-anticipated Season 5 of Orange is the New Black will return to Netflix on June 9.

4. The Ranch
Set in present day on a Colorado ranch outside Denver, this multi-camera family comedy series stars Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Sam Elliott and Debra Winger. The show follows Colt’s (Kutcher) return home after a brief and failed semi- pro football career to run the family ranching business with his older brother Jameson “Rooster” (Masterson) and father Beau (Elliott), whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years. Winger stars as Colt’s and Jimmy’s mother, Maggie, who runs the local town bar. The series also features Elisha Cuthbert (Abby), and fellow That 70’s Show alum Wilmer Valderrama (Umberto). The Ranch was renewed for a second season of 20 episodes, which is scheduled to premiere on June 16.
